Booking requests performed online without any online payment linked to it will be considered as a genuine booking request. Online bookings with online payments will be considered as firm bookings. They will be handled in priority and will automatically generate a temporary booking for a period of maximum 3 working days offering the guaranty that the accommodation is booked until payment reaches Horizon Holidays Ltd bank account.
All bookings made online on Horizon Holidays Website will be followed within a minute after the transaction is completed, by an automated e-mail acknowledging receipt of the booking request. This booking will only be confirmed once payment has been cleared by the bank (maximum 3 working days). As soon as payment is cleared, Horizon Holidays will send a booking confirmation. In the case that payment is not cleared within a period of 3 working days, Horizon Holidays reserves the right to automatically cancel the booking request. Online payment is only accepted when the Horizon Holidays shows availability. If Horizon shows on request, the credit card will not be debited until Horizon Holidays Ltd confirms availability.
Horizon Holidays reserves the right to cancel a partly paid booking in case full amount is not settled in time, and the down payment will be retained as cancellation fees as detailed below.
Full payment is required before a booking can be confirmed and in all cases, full payment must be received prior to arrival. In case of technical error in the automated payment treatment, Horizon Holidays Ltd reserves the right to directly contact the client to adjust the amount due accordingly.
The following cancellation fees will apply in case you cancel your booking :
For booking cancelled more than 30 days prior to client arrival : 50% cancellation fees
For booking cancelled less than 30 days prior to client arrival : 100% cancellation fees
For booking cancelled more than 60 days prior to client arrival : No cancellation fee
For booking cancelled between 30 and 59 days prior to client arrival : 25% cancellation fees
For booking cancelled between 15 and 29 days prior to client arrival : 50% cancellation fees
For booking cancelled less than 15 days prior to client arrival : 100% cancellation fees
